Ocean Freight

The most cost-effective way to move volume across the globe. Full-container and shared-container sailings on every major trade lane, with schedules you can plan around.

FCL vs LCL

Choose the right container option

FCL (Full Container Load) gives you an entire 20ft or 40ft container to yourself, best value per unit once you're filling roughly 15 cubic metres or more, faster port handling, and less risk of damage.

LCL (Less than Container Load) lets you share a container and pay only for the space you use, ideal for smaller or trial shipments, though transit and handling take a little longer.

Rule of thumb

Below ~13-15 m³, LCL usually wins on cost. Above it, FCL is typically cheaper and safer. Not sure? Send us your dimensions and we'll model both.

Shipper's tip: know your Incoterms

Your Incoterm (EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP…) decides who pays freight, insurance and duties, and where risk transfers. Getting it wrong is the most common cause of surprise charges. We'll help you pick the term that protects your margin before you book.

FAQ

Ocean freight, explained

A 20ft holds ~28-33 m³ (about 10 standard pallets); a 40ft holds ~56-67 m³ (about 20-21 pallets). We'll advise the most efficient loading plan for your cargo.

Demurrage is charged when a container stays at the port beyond free time; detention when you keep the container too long after collection. We plan collections and clearance to keep these to zero.

Carrier liability is limited by international convention and rarely covers full value. We strongly recommend all-risks marine insurance, which we can arrange in minutes.

Yes, we combine ocean freight with road haulage and customs clearance for a single door-to-door movement.
